Let’s find out which pickup truck is right for you!

While the 2026 Ford F-150 does offer the most powerful engine, the 5.2-liter Supercharged V8, it’s only available on the Raptor R trim level. Supercharged V8 engine aside, the Ram 1500 engine lineup holds its own, with the high-output 3.0-liter Hurricane engine, which is standard on the top four trim levels and boasts 540 horsepower. Excluding the Supercharged V8 engine, that number is well above the horsepower numbers that the rest of the F-150 engines offer.

The 2026 Ford F-150 lineup does have a slight edge in towing and payload capacity, but the Ram 1500 still offers ample power for towing and hauling heavy loads, such as a boat or trailer.

For drivers focused on off-roading capability, both lineups offer trucks that are designed to handle rugged routes and rough terrain. For the 2026 Ram 1500, these trucks are the Ram 1500 RHO, Ram 1500 Rebel, and Ram 1500 Warlock. For the 2026 Ford F-150, these off-road-equipped trucks are the F-150 Raptor, F-150 Raptor R, and F-150 Tremor.

Besides its 540 maximum horsepower and 521 maximum pound-feet of torque, highlights of the Ram 1500 RHO include:

  • 2-inch raised ride height
  • 11.8 inches of ground clearance
  • Up to 32 inches for water fording
  • 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory® all-terrain tires

Interior Comparison

Since you’ll be spending a lot of time behind the wheel of your new pickup truck, it’s essential for the cabin to offer all the essentials and comfort you need to get through a long day of work.

Whether you prefer a more basic model or want a pickup truck that offers ultimate luxury, the 2026 Ram 1500 lineup offers options that appeal to different drivers, starting with the Tradesman trim level and ending with the Tungsten trim level.

From convenient technology to comfort-focused features, the 2026 Ram 1500 ensures your traveling needs are met. Tech features across the lineup include Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Integrated Voice Command, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen display that can be upgraded to an available 12.0-inch touchscreen display and even an available 14.4-inch touchscreen display.

Six speakers come standard, but you can enjoy even better sound quality with the available nine-amplified speakers with subwoofer, available 19-speaker Harman Kardon® Premium Sound, or even available 23-speaker Klipsch® Reference Premiere Sound System in the 2026 Ram 1500 Tungsten.

Other noteworthy features include an available wireless charging pad and even an available dual wireless charging pad, so two phones can charge at the same time. Available comfort features include:

  • Heated front seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Heated second-row seats
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Ventilated rear seats
  • 8-way power adjustable driver seat
  • 20-way power adjustable front seats
  • Massaging front seats

Can the 2026 Ford F-150 boast the same features?

While the F-150 does offer a standard 12-inch touchscreen, it doesn’t offer a larger size like the 2026 Ram 1500 does. However, a B&O® Sound System By Bang & Olufsen® is available as is a B&O® Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen®. But while the F-150 offers an available wireless charging pad, you won’t find a dual charging pad as an option.

When it comes to comfort features, the F-150 offers available heated front and rear seats and an available heated steering wheel. But while you can get available ventilated seats for the front, they’re not available for the rear. An eight-way power driver seat is optional on the F-150 XLT, and a 10-way power driver seat and multi-adjustable power front passenger seat are standard on higher F-150 trim levels, but the Ram 1500 goes even further with 20-way power-adjustable front seats in the Tungsten trim level.

Leather seating options are available for both trucks, but if you want extra refinement and comfort while behind the wheel, the 2026 Ram 1500 pulls ahead.
