2025 Dodge Charger

When it comes to muscle cars, the Dodge Charger stands in a class of its own. The vintage aesthetic may pay homage to its past, but don’t be fooled–the bold redesign of the latest Charger is a modern muscle car through and through.

Packed with new driver-assistance features and future-forward technology, the Charger is set to become the most elite muscle car on the market.

Did we mention that there are two body styles to choose from?

Keep reading as we break down what we know about the latest Dodge Charger for sale and what’s to come at Legacy CDJR!

What’s New for 2025?

Get comfortable because the new Charger has lots of updates!

The 2025 Charger muscle car received a complete redesign for 2025. From the all-new electric model to a larger-than-life 16.0-inch digital gauge display, the 2025 Charger offers more than a complete overhaul–it’s a dream brought to life.

The next-generation EV, the Charger Daytona, will ride alongside its gas-powered counterpart into history books. Keep an eye on Legacy Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM because we think you’ll want to learn more about the world’s only electric muscle car.

A Mix of Old and New: Highlights of the 2025 Dodge Charger

Don’t let the 60s and 70s-inspired exterior fool you–this elite muscle car has all the amenities of modern luxury and the power to make it fly.

Exclusive Performance and Power

Prepare to unleash serious power behind the wheel of the Charger. After all, its exclusive engine isn’t called the “Hurricane” for nothing.

The twin-turbocharged inline-six engine exudes incredible power. The Charger Standard Output (S.O.) model packs a healthy 420 horsepower under the hood, while the High Output (H.O.) upgrade boosts power up to 550 horsepower.

While powerful in its own right, the “highest horsepower” titleholder is the electric Charger Daytona, which boasts an unheard-of 670 horsepower!

Larger-than-Life Technology

While we once believed that power and performance were the only thing that mattered in a muscle car, modern drivers demand a new factor: technology.

Connection and entertainment features continue to test the limits on what we think is possible behind the wheel–and the 2025 Charger is ahead of the game.

All Charger models will include a 12.3-inch infotainment display, paired with either the standard 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster or the available 16.0-inch unit. If that wasn’t enough, the Dodge Charger welcomes a slew of standard included features, such as:

  • SiriusXM satellite radio
  • In-dash navigation software
  • Amazon Alexa voice assistant
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

With an option between two different Alpine stereo systems, including one with a whopping 18 speakers, how can you say no to this technological marvel?

1960s Inspiration with a Modern Twist

The Dodge brand is not one to forget the past and move on to bigger and brighter things. Instead, it uses its past to influence and inspire its future, with no better example or success story than the 2025 Charger.

Lovers of the 1960s muscle car may recognize some design elements in the cabin, such as the layered dashboard and pistol-grip shift lever for the automatic transmission. The classic bucket seats in the two-door fastback coupe maximize comfort and space for the driver and lucky passenger, but if you’re looking to take your friends and family on a joy-ride, opt for the four-door sedan.

Whether you choose the two- or four-door model, enjoy a rear liftback design for ample cargo space and easy access to the storage compartment behind the backseat.

How Much Will the New Dodge Charger Cost?

With a redesign of this caliber, one of the biggest questions on every muscle car enthusiast’s mind is “how much is this going to cost?”

While we would love to give you definitive figures and specific trims, Dodge is keeping quiet on this front. The price of the 2025 Charger is expected to start around $40,000 for the Sixpack S.O. trim and go up to $50,000 for the Sixpack H.O. trim.

It is likely that other trim levels will be offered for 2025, such as the Dodge Charger RT, Scat Pack, and Dodge Charger GT, but details have yet to be released.

Stay Up-to-Date on the Muscle Car of Tomorrow at Legacy Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM!

With so much to look forward to for the new 2025 Dodge Charger and so much left unsaid, one thing is for certain: the all-new Charger lineup is destined to make history.

2025 Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler offers more than off-road prowess and capability — it gives its drivers the freedom to choose their destiny.

The Jeep Wrangler may have built its reputation on its ability to tackle the roughest terrain with poise, but its legendary status starts with freedom. From powerful engines to removable tops, the Wrangler lineup makes it easy to customize your SUV. The choice, as the Wrangler sees it, is entirely yours!

And now, with only a few months left in the year, the Jeep brand is inviting us on yet another adventure with the introduction of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler.

So what can we expect to see when this fearless adventurer arrives? Keep reading to find out!

What’s New for 2025?

For this year’s rebellious off-roader, the Wrangler adopts the “out with the old, in with the new” mindset.

The 2025 model will no longer offer the eight-speed automatic transmission with the V6 engine; instead, the V6 engine will only come with a six-speed manual transmission. We must also say a heartfelt goodbye to the Rubicon 392 V8 model, but don’t worry! The Rubicon 392 Final Edition will still be available.

The 2025 Wrangler also welcomes a few new additions to the lineup, including standard power windows and locks on every trim level now and a military olive drab-inspired color named ‘41.

Power Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

The 2025 Wrangler lineup offers three engine options that provide robust power and efficiency with every mile:

  • 2.0L Turbo Engine: Whether on or off road, you can expect to conquer the drive with the available 2.0-liter turbo engine, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Offering up to 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque, this engine is prepared to do more than drive — it aims to soar.
  • 3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine: Take on your next adventure with the standard six-speed manual transmission and the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and enjoy power-packed efficiency. This engine can produce up to 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque, resulting in a dynamic drive.
  • PHEV with 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo Engine: Its name may be long-winded, but this engine offers power in its purest form. With astounding 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque at your command, you are in for an adventure that will make your heart jump!

But we’ve been keeping a secret… For those that opt for the Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition, the heart of this ride is a 470-horsepower, 6.4-liter V-8 engine. Not only will you stand to impress your fellow off-road competitors, but you may also impress your fellow Jeep companions with this display of unparalleled performance.

Jeep Maintenance

The Jeep is more than a machine–it’s a lifestyle. Whether you like embracing your inner daredevil off the beaten path or choosing a reliable life on the highway, a Jeep is the perfect roadside companion.

But remember that even the strongest competitors need some regular tender, love, and care to reach their peak performance capabilities.

Keeping your Jeep in top condition is not a difficult task–well, as long as you know where to go and what to do. Simple, right?

Don’t worry! The team at Legacy Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM has compiled a complete guide to Jeep maintenance, tackling everything from tips and tricks to a schedule breakdown. Keep reading to learn more, then stop by our service center in Florence for Jeep maintenance near you!

Are Regular Maintenance Visits Necessary?

It can be tempting to turn up your music when you hear the brakes squeaking or ignore the pesky lights on the dashboard. After all, car maintenance is one of the most overwhelming and stressful parts of adulthood.

However, routine vehicle maintenance not only ensures its safety and dependability for years to come but may save you a hefty price tag in future car repairs. While it can save money in future repairs, proper maintenance can also increase fuel efficiency.

According to the Car Care Council, simple (and inexpensive) vehicle maintenance may save as much as $1,200 a year in gasoline costs alone. That’s a possible $1,200 back in your pocket just for a visit to your local Jeep dealership’s service center!

Eight Tips for Keeping Your Jeep Running Smoothly

Your Jeep may be an off-road powerhouse, but it takes work to reach that star-level status. Regular upkeep is an essential component of owning a Jeep, ensuring that it stays ahead of the pack both on and off the road.

Here, we’ve compiled eight maintenance tips to keep your Jeep in tip-top condition!

  1. Start With a Jeep Oil Change
Water is to humans as oil is to vehicles: just as water is crucial to the health and well-being of people, the same can be said for oil to vehicles. Oil serves as the lifeblood of your Jeep, ensuring that the engine continues to run smoothly by keeping it well lubricated, dissipating heat, and removing harmful debris. Whether you’ve chosen a brand-new Wrangler or have your heart set on the used Grand Cherokee for sale, one thing is certain: both will need regular oil changes to keep you road-ready.
  2. Check (and Change) Your Fluids
Your Jeep is a powerful piece of machinery with many moving parts that work together to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. In addition to the engine oil, other fluids keep your vehicle operational, including power steering, transmission, brake fluids, and more.

Each Jeep requires certain levels of these fluids and how often you need them changed will depend on various factors. Talk to one of our experienced team members to determine what your Jeep needs regarding fluid levels and frequency–our certified technicians have you covered!
  3. Inspect Your Tires
Tires are an integral part of any vehicle, but they can also be easily forgotten. Jeep tire maintenance starts with a closer look at the tread. Check your tread depth to determine if your tires are ready to take on the road ahead or if you need to invest in new tires.

If your tire inspection proves the tread is looking good, get a tire rotation. Even wear is a necessity to help maintain traction on all four tires and enhance your ride’s stability and performance capability.

Don’t forget about tire pressure! Maintaining the correct tire pressure will not only help your Jeep handle better but will also lengthen the lifespan of your tires. You know what that means–more money in your pocket!
  4. Hit the Brakes!
The brakes are one of, if not the most, important safety features on your vehicle. Over time, your brake pads will wear down and lose their effectiveness. Worn-out brake pads can make coming to a complete stop in time difficult, resulting in a possible collision.

When it comes to your brake pads, it’s important to rely on your listening skills rather than on your sight. When your brake pads begin to wear down, they will likely squeak or squeal, letting you know it’s time to pay a visit to one of our certified techs at Legacy CDJR.
  5. Keep an Eye on the Suspension
The hero of any off-roader is its suspension system. With the sole purpose of absorbing shocks and ensuring a smooth journey, there is nothing more important to any off-road ride than the quality of its suspension system.

Regular check-ups are necessary to maintain the suspension’s integrity. Our technicians will watch for any missing or loose nuts and bolts and potential damage from debris, ensuring that your ride will be safe and secure during the unknown bumps in the road.
  6. Grease is the Word
The secret to any smooth journey is not an oil change (though that is important). The secret? Good old-fashioned grease.

Grease is the key component to keeping your jeep well-lubricated and avoiding costly damages in the future. Applying a fresh coat to the u-joints, bearings, and driveshafts will keep the ever-frustrating squeaks at bay and avoid unnecessary friction that can cause damage to those key areas.
  7. Monitor Your Air Filters
Dust and debris are often part of the road ahead but can cause undue harm to your air filter. When the air filter becomes clogged, it reduces airflow to the engine. When left unchecked, this can cause decreased performance, possible engine damage, and overheating.
  8. Inspect and Protect the Undercarriage
Recently discovered a Jeep Wrangler for sale near you? Before you take the plunge to off-roading greatness, prepare your Wrangler for what’s to come.

Off-roading can expose the undercarriage of your Jeep to rocks, debris, and other hazards that come with the territory of unpaved streets. Regularly inspect the undercarriage, including suspension and drivetrain components, to keep an eye out for signs of damage or sagging that may reduce ground clearance.

Jeep Maintenance Schedule by Mileage

Owning a Jeep requires regular maintenance checks and changes, but how often should you schedule a service check?

Your Jeep’s mileage will determine its servicing needs, but below, we’ve compiled a general rule of thumb for maintenance, broken down by mileage.

For Every 20,000 Miles…

  • Inspect the universal joints, suspension, front and rear axle fluid, tie rod ends, and brake linings
  • Inspect and replace the cabin air filter

For Every 30,000 Miles…

  • Inspect and replace the engine air filter
  • Inspect and change the transmission fluid
  • Inspect the transfer and case fluid

For Every 40,000 Miles…

  • Perform the 20,000 mile inspections
  • Change the front and rear axle fluid

For Every 60,000 Miles….

  • Perform the regular 20,000 and 30,000 mile inspections
  • Replace spark plugs
  • Change the manual transmission fluid

Monthly Maintenance Checks

  • Check fluid levels, including engine oil, brake, coolant, etc.
  • Check tire pressure
  • Check the interior and exterior lights
  • Check your oil, and if an oil change is needed, replace the filter, rotate your tires, inspect the brake pads, and inspect your battery for any corrosion or wear.

The RAM 1500 is luxury perfection in a rugged pickup truck. Equipped with performance-enhancing technology and three engine choices packed with power, there’s a reason this truck deserves its place in the hall of fame (or should we say haul of fame)!

Keep reading as we take a closer look at what makes the newest RAM 1500 the elite towing companion, then head on down to our RAM truck dealership near you to get behind the wheel!

Unleashing the Power Behind the 2024 RAM 1500

When it comes to performance-ready power, the RAM 1500 knows how to deliver. However, with three legendary engines designed to deliver top-of-the-line performance, the choice might be harder than you think.

5.7L Hemi V8 Engine with eTorque

Offering 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft. of eTorque technology, this engine offers the best in performance and efficiency. With the addition of an available extra 130 lb.-ft. of torque, this engine offers a best-in-class max hybrid towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds!

3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine with eTorque

The 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque utilizes wide-range variable valve timing and two-step variable valve lift to deliver 269 lb.-ft. of torque and 305 horsepower–even in the standard model. Talk about powerful!

Supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 Engine

Saving what may be deemed the best–or at least the most powerful–for last is the Supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 engine. Capable of reaching 0-60 MPH in an incredible 4.5 seconds, this engine delivers best-in-class horsepower and torque at 702 and 650, respectively.

2024 RAM 1500 Towing Capacity and Capabilities

Depending on your engine of choice, each will deliver varying payloads and towing capacity. Before we start breaking down the numbers, it’s important to understand the difference between maximum payload and maximum towing capacity.

  • Payload: A truck’s payload capacity refers to the highest amount of weight that you can safely add to a truck’s cargo area in addition to its empty weight.
  • Towing capacity: Refers to the maximum weight that a truck can tow after factoring in the truck weight and weight of any additional cargo.

Your choice of engine will depend on whether you need to tow equipment to the job site or camping gear on your next family adventure. Here is a breakdown of the maximum towing capacity and payload by engine:

3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine

  • Maximum towing capacity: 7,730 lbs
  • Maximum payload capacity: 2,300 lbs

Supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 Engine

  • Maximum towing capacity: 8,100 lbs
  • Maximum payload capacity: 1,360 lbs

5.7L Hemi V8 Engine

  • Maximum towing capacity: 12,750 lbs
  • Maximum payload capacity: 2,300 lbs

RAM Truck Accessories and Features

Being inducted into the hall of fame is about more than the towing capability of your engine. Often, safety and towing confidence comes down to specialty RAM accessories.

For long-haul confidence, consider the Trailer Reverse Steering control system. This system allows the driver to handle reversing with ease and gives a newfound simplicity to a once challenging and nerve-wracking task.

For those just getting started on their towing journey, the Electronic Stability Control with Anti-Rollover technology keeps you confident on the road so you can focus on getting from one place to another–no matter how much equipment you have behind you.

Top Three Most Reliable Used Cars

When it comes to choosing a vehicle, reliability is usually one of the biggest factors. We want a vehicle that will not only get us from point A to point B but protect our most valuable cargo when we need it.

Jeeps are the go-to ride for adventure-seekers, outranking their competition in performance and off-road capabilities. However, many budget-conscious car buyers have asked the all-too-important question “Are used Jeeps reliable?”

The answer? Keep reading to find out about the most reliable used Jeeps on the market, and whether buying a used vehicle from one of the leading car dealerships in Florence, SC is right for you!

Should I Buy a New or Used Vehicle?

One of the most difficult decisions when car shopping is whether you should opt for a brand-new ride, a used car, or a certified pre-owned model.

Benefits of Buying New

Depending on your budget and priorities, buying a new car may be the best choice for you. One of the major perks of buying a new car is the fact that you are the first to own your ride, meaning no prior accidents, no mistreatment by previous owners, and a clean title.

Other advantages to buying a new car include:

  • You have your choice of exterior paint colors, extra features, etc.
  • Manufacturer’s warranty
  • The latest technology and safety features
  • Less up-front maintenance costs
  • Better financing offers

Advantages of Buying Used

When on the hunt for affordable used cars, the biggest advantage is its price point. A used car is going to be less expensive than a brand-new vehicle. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of a new car, choosing used may allow you to purchase a model that’s only a few years older for a better price.

Other perks to choosing a used model include:

  • Lower insurance rates
  • Little to no depreciation
  • A wider selection of choices (certain models or package options may no longer be available on newer models)
  • Potential certified pre-owned (CPO) offers with limited warranties

Is it Better to Choose a New or Used Jeep?

Making a decision between a new and used Jeep comes down to your personal finances and lifestyle priorities. Here are some aspects to consider as you weigh your options:

Budget

One of the most important aspects to many of life’s decisions comes down to your personal finances. Cars can be an expensive investment, with ongoing maintenance costs, insurance premiums, and gas prices to consider.

Wants and Needs in a Jeep

Are you looking for a family-friendly ride, or an off-road beast like the Jeep Wrangler for sale? Do you want Bluetooth capabilities or can you make do with the aux cord? Once you’ve prioritized your needs and wants in your vehicle, you’ll be able to narrow down your selection.

Purchase Plan

How you plan to pay for your vehicle is just as important as your initial budget. If you plan to finance your ride, you’ll have to factor in interest rates and monthly payments. If you plan to pay cash, you’ll have to settle on a realistic up-front cost.

Talk to our finance center to help you figure out which purchase plan is best for you–and be sure to ask us about our current Jeep finance offers!

The Top Three Most Reliable Used Jeeps on the Market

The Used Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is known for its capabilities in off-road adventures, but it also happens to be one of the most reliable Jeep models on the used car market. While some model years are known to behave better than others, none stands out more in reliability than the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK).

On top of its simple yet indestructible design, 2017 models have been reported to last more than 300,000 miles. Known issues regarding the used Wranglers have been easy to repair, often giving the driver opportunities to make some impressive performance modifications.

Keep a close eye on the auto dealers in Florence, SC for used Jeep Wranglers near you!

2017-2021 Jeep Compass

What the Jeep Compass lacks in on-road refinement, it makes up for in off-road power. With a six-speed automatic or manual transmission, it offers unmatched driver control.

While the 2017-2021 models offer an enhanced level of reliability, the 2018 Jeep Compass is the most favored in this regard. Complete with an easy-to-use infotainment system and affordable price tag, it’s hard to let go of the Compass when you get behind the wheel.

The Used Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a beloved, large-and-in-charge model within the Jeep lineup. Having been known to last over 200,000 miles, the V8 and V6 engine options are known for their reliability and relatively low level of maintenance needs.

Summer Car Care

Whether you’ve just moved to South Carolina or have called this state home for many years, one thing is certain: the heat and humidity can be brutal.

With temperatures reaching well above the 90s in the peak summer months, self-preservation is the key to staying cool and beating the intense heat. But while you’re blasting the AC in your car or embarking on a summer road trip to cooler climates, your car may struggle with higher temps.

Whether you own a Dodge muscle car or a family-friendly Chrysler, it’s important to make sure your car is prepared and protected for the summer sun!

Keep reading to learn how to take care of your car this summer, and then stop by our automotive service center for a vehicle maintenance check!

Fun in the Sun: The Impact of the Summer Heat on Your Vehicle

While many of us tend to focus on prepping our vehicles in the colder seasons, intense heat can damage your car and its parts. Hot summers, especially those in South Carolina, often mean battery failures, air conditioner repairs, and tire replacements, to name a few.

Your battery, tires, and engine are the major components of your car most affected by extreme temperatures. Extreme heat can negatively impact the chemical processes inside car batteries, making it difficult for them to hold charge and produce enough power to get your vehicle moving.

Due to the heat, fluids within the engine have a more difficult time circulating and may result in your vehicle not starting at all. As for the tires, extreme temperature changes can negatively affect tire pressure, causing uneven wear and tire and shortening the life of your tires altogether.

Rising temperatures can wreak havoc on your vehicle, but there are ways to prepare your car for the heat ahead.

Ten Tips for Beating the Summer Heat and Protecting Your Vehicle

When it comes to heat and humidity, it’s important to focus on keeping ourselves and our vehicles cool! Here are ten tips for helping your vehicle–and yourself!–beat the summer heat.

  1. Test the AC
At the peak of summer, the last thing you want is trouble with your car’s air conditioning. Since you may not have used your AC during the winter and spring, it’s important to test it out before summer gets into full swing.

Hot air blowing out when you turn on your car’s AC? A refrigerant may be needed to give your AC system a much-needed boost. Don’t feel comfortable handling the AC on your own or find yourself in need of a car air conditioner repair near you? Just visit our service center at Legacy CDJR and our qualified technicians will handle it!
  2. Take Time for Your Tires
Between possible damage from winter conditions to the potholes plaguing South Carolina streets, your tires tend to take a significant hit. Before packing in your friends and family on a summer road trip, take some time to give your tires some TLC.

The first thing you’ll want to check is tire pressure. Most vehicles recommend tire pressure between 30 and 35 PSI. Consult your car owner’s manual for the specific PSI, then address your tires’ needs accordingly.

In addition to tire pressure, we recommended tire rotations every 5,000 miles. This will help ensure you get the most life out of your tires and help with overall wear and tear.
  3. Get Your Oil and Oil Filter Changed
One of the simplest–and best–ways to increase the life of your vehicle is through regular oil and filter changes. Oil helps lubricate the engine to keep it safe from wear and tear, while the filter removes harmful contaminants from the engine oil.

A good rule of thumb is to change your oil every 5,000-7,000 miles, depending on your vehicle. Your owner’s manual will have recommendations specific to your vehicle, or you can ask one of our service center mechanics for their recommendation! We offer the best oil change near you for convenience and ease, so you don’t have to worry about another DIY project to add to your list!
  4. Triple-Check Your Fluid Levels
Extreme heat can cause fluid levels to evaporate at a much quicker pace, making it harder for your vehicle to function correctly. Check your transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield wiper fluid to ensure that they are topped off for the road ahead.

In addition to the fluid levels above, coolant is one of the most important things to check during the summer season. Coolant prevents your car’s engine from overheating–a major risk during the summer heat.
  5. Test Your Battery
Excessive heat and overcharging of your car’s battery could leave you stranded on the side of the road without warning. Rising temperatures can cause battery fluid to evaporate, causing the battery and its components to oxidize.

Visit our Dodge, RAM, and Jeep service center to get your battery tested to ensure that it’s ready to handle the hot days ahead!
  6. Stop and Check Your Brakes!
Your brakes are one of the most important, if not the most important, parts of your car. Given that you rely on your brakes every time you drive, it’s important to ensure they’re functioning properly.

There are several red flags to be on the lookout for when it comes to assessing your brake’s performance. Squealing, grinding, or squeaking sounds while on the road may indicate it’s time to replace your brakes. You’ll also want to check for brake pulling, which is when your vehicle pulls to one side when you put your foot on the brake.

If you feel or hear any of these red flags, take a trip down to your CDJR dealership in Florence for brake services.
  7. Keep Your Car Clean–Inside and Outside
Keeping your car clean has a few perks above just making you feel good in your space. Increased temperatures can cause leftover plastics, food, and other forgotten items to melt or damage your car’s interior.

For the exterior, regularly washing and drying your vehicle will not only keep it clean but also remove dust and dirt that can damage the paint while it sits in the sun. For the best results, try to avoid washing your car under direct sunlight and use a pH-balanced car soap and microfiber cloth to avoid any damage to the clear coat.
  8. Stick to the Shade

It’s all fun in the sun until too much light damages your ride. On days with clear skies, try to seek out shady spots for your vehicle when possible. Parking your car in the shade has several benefits and can prevent the following:
    • Damage to the exterior paint from harmful UV rays
    • Overheating the engine
    • Heating the steering wheel and leather seats, which make it difficult to drive
  9. Focus On the Engine
Every vehicle has a cooling system that removes heat from the engine, allowing it to maintain proper temperatures and reduce the risk of overheating. Comprised of the coolant, hoses, thermostat, radiator, and water pump, each part works together to keep your engine cool and your car on the road.

While driving, it’s important to keep an eye on the temperature gauge. This will indicate the current temperature of your engine and, if it gets too hot, your vehicle may be at risk for overheating.
